Dear Brethren,

I hope this finds you and your families well.  It is that time of year again when we see the rebirth of nature after the long, cold winter.  Like nature, we as Masons become reborn in our endeavors of work in the club and charity to each other, our families, and our communities.

We are quickly approaching our two charity fundraising events; the Golf Outing and Day at the Races.  I implore you as members of the PSC to please get involved.  We as the Officer line and the Executive Committee cannot put on these events ourselves.  Just as the saying ‘It takes a village to raise a child’, so too does it ‘take the entire club to put on an event’.  For us as a club to be successful, we all need to be involved.  As with our regular lodges; the more you put into the PSC, the more you will get out of it.  Remember, these events raise monies for the club for things such as differing the costs of our annual Fellowship Night, meals for monthly meetings, and the Annual Family Day; not to mention beginning a scholarship.  Please help…your club needs you!

The new NYPD Intranet is up and running and along with it, the new Fraternal Organizations link under the announcements section.  Prospective members can go under the tab for more information and click on the “join” sub-tab under the PSC and it will send them direct to our website.  I think this is another great step in recruiting more members.  Please continue to help recruit new members; word of mouth is still the single best recruiting tool.

I hope to see you all at the next meeting.  Until then, be well and travel safe.

We hope you enjoy the following pictures of the event.
